Mechatronics Engineering

Program Overview

If you are passionate about creating, innovating, and working with cutting-edge technology, Mechatronics Engineering is the program for you. This degree combines mechanical engineering, electronics, control systems, and programming to design and develop intelligent systems and machines that solve real-world challenges in industry and everyday life. The program consists of 10 four-month academic terms (cuatrimestres). During the first six terms, students complete the requirements to earn a Higher University Technician (TSU) degree in one of the following specialization areas: * Automation * Robotics * Flexible Manufacturing Systems After completing the TSU level, students continue for four additional terms to obtain the Bachelor’s Degree and Professional License in Mechatronics Engineering.

Mission

We are an academic program committed to educating Mechatronics Engineering professionals with the competencies required to design and apply scientific and technological advances in process automation and the development of flexible manufacturing systems, thereby contributing to the improvement of society’s quality of life.

Vision

To be an academic program recognized for the quality of its Mechatronics Engineering graduates, equipped with the professional competencies needed to perform effectively in the workforce with national and international recognition, distinguished by their contributions to societal development.

Professional Profile

Graduates are able to design mechatronic systems based on process requirements and the identification of improvement opportunities, using methodologies and tools related to design, control, simulation, and manufacturing. Through these competencies, they develop innovative technological
